CBC Radio One Yellowknife (CFYK-FM) is the CBC North station serving the Northwest Territories from Yellowknife, carrying CBC Radio One's national news and current affairs alongside regional programs such as The Trailbreaker, Northwind and Trail's End. Owned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, it also airs afternoon programming in First Nations languages. On air since 1950 as CFYK on AM, it moved to 98.9 FM in 2013.
