The Important Cinema Club
The Important Cinema Club is a film podcast hosted by Toronto-based critics and filmmakers Justin Decloux and Will Sloan. Each episode dives into the full spectrum of cinema, from acclaimed art-house masterpieces to gloriously trashy genre movies and everything in between. The hosts mix serious criticism with irreverent humour, often covering cult directors, exploitation films, and overlooked oddities alongside canonical classics. New premium episodes are released weekly for Patreon subscribers, while the main feed offers regular free instalments. It is an independent show and not affiliated with any radio broadcaster.
