Radio Fiji Mirchi Canada is Canada's first 24/7 Hindi radio station, launched on Canada Day 2009 and serving the Fijian Indian community of the Lower Mainland (Surrey/Vancouver). It airs Hindi and Bollywood music along with devotional (bhajan) programmes, news and talk shows in Hindi and English, originally transmitted as a subcarrier of CBC's French channel on 97.7 FM in Vancouver and now also streamed online worldwide.
