Theory Underground
Theory Underground is a lecture course and publishing platform aimed at working-class autodidacts and intellectual outsiders. Hosted by David McKerracher, it centers on small, focused, lecture-driven courses alongside public conversations with colleagues, co-instructors, and fellow travelers. The podcast version exists to make this niche material freely accessible to people who listen on earbuds rather than watch video. Episodes are deliberately variable in length and unedited, using the medium against its intended purposes. The content leans toward understanding the current political and intellectual situation after the exhaustion of existing movements, parties, and ideologies.
